The factory drain plug strips easily and once it's damaged, it becomes very difficult to remove. The XD327 features a CNC-machined billet aluminum construction with a knurled perimeter so you can install and remove it by hand, or with a 3\/8\" drive ratchet. This eliminates the hazards of having to replace the whole HFCM due to a damaged drain plug.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe factory plug also causes the draining fuel and water to land directly on the driveshaft making a mess during routine maintenance.
