Skyjacker's Monotube technology maintains vehicle control over terrain bumps, dips and potholes with high-pressure nitrogen charge. A free-floating dividing piston separates shock fluid from high-pressure gas charging to reduce shock lag (decline) or fade (failure).A combination of preload and short upper strut mount spacers distributes the lift load more evenly and prevents CV axle overextension within the OEM tolerances. A moderate preload spacer and coil spring pad below the OEM coil spring is the first component to add a higher ride height.A short 1-piece top mount metal strut spacer is the second. This top mount strut spacer has a strong tab-and-slot interlocked design: precise CNC laser cut and precision formed in CNC press break. These are powder coated to provide an extremely durable protective barrier to prevent corrosion.This combination system functions perfectly to prevent binding of the upper control arm with the strut assembly.
