    So, you've decided to ditch the boat anchor 6.2L or 6.5L diesel or the old SBC or BBC under the hood of your square body pickup. You love the way your truck looks and how you feel behind the wheel of it...but also like to be able to merge into traffic and occasionally pull a trailer or haul something heavy in the bed. You could have gone LS swap, but really like the power delivery of your newer diesel pickup and have decided that a 6.6L Duramax will give you the best of both worlds - classic looks with modern performance. Once you've got the donor engine sitting in the chassis (check out our mount kit WCF100173), the next order of business is to back it up with the right transmission to help put the power to the wheels. The WCFab Transmission Crossmember kit provides what you need to bolt up an Allison 1000 or ZF6 trans to a Duramax Diesel Engine in your 1973-1987 GM 3/4 or 1 Ton C/K Square Body Truck Chassis (Chevy C20, C30, K30). Bolt in transmission crossmember for Allison 1000 5 or 6 speed automatic or ZF6 manual to factory location at frame rail. Provides Driveshaft Clearance for Up to 6” of Suspension Lift. Intended for use with NP205 Transfer Case and Advance Adapters Conversion Kit in 4WD Applications. Recommended for use with LB7/LLY/LBZ/LMM/LML Duramax HD Engine Swap Mounts for 1973-1987 Square Body Chevy Chassis (WCF100173).
