Description:

The XDP HD Replacement Battery Cable Set XD439 will replace the old battery cables in your 1998.5-2002 Dodge 5.9L Cummins. Battery cables that are no longer performing can cause a lot of problems in your vehicle. This can lead to hard start conditions, no-start conditions, and poor charging system performance. These conditions can create added strain on your truck's electrical system and even leave you stranded!

Each Battery Cable Set is constructed from 2/0 (or 00 AWG) wire for greater conductivity. The heavy-duty tin-plated copper terminals are crimped-on for secure connection. Each connection is then sealed with an adhesive lined shrink wrap to protect the cable from acidic battery fumes that can shorten cable life. Each kit comes ready to install with military style battery terminals, terminal covers, and wire loom for added durability.

Application Notes:

The Existing OEM 14 Gauge fusible link must be spliced into the positive cable (components included).

This cable has a straight lug that works with OEM, XDP HD, and Mean Green starters
